StarLink Charger 2.0 for Genesis AI mRIC R, RIC RT, ITC R/ITE R and custom Genesis AI hearing aids features a larger recess for all RIC cables and custom molds, improved retention, internal LED charging lights and charging slots in various to colour. These new chargers feature a built-in turbo charge for three hours of hearing aid use in just 10 minutes of charging and must be connected to an external power source (i.e. an electrical outlet) to operate/charge the hearing aids. In addition, the hearing aids are fully charged in less than 4 hours and last approximately 30-50 hours, depending on the model and use.

When does turbo charging occur, and how can one recognize it?
For the new StarLink Chargers and Mini Turbo Charger: Turbo charging occurs when the hearing aid battery is almost empty.
If the hearing aid battery is nearly depleted, the StarLink Charger or Mini Turbo Charger will "Turbo Charge" the hearing aid during the first seven minutes on the charger, then revert to the regular charging speed after the "turbo mode" is completed.
The seven minutes of turbo charging give the user up to 3 hours of hearing aid usage.
